The Brides at Moon Harbor

The Golden Week, which is to say the mandatory National Holdiay week of October 1, is prime time for the wedding industry.   A lot of couples use the time to get married.  It seems a lot of couples marry informally throughout the summer and then use the holiday period to catch up on the formalities of honeymoons and photos and parties.

We've written before about the weekly bride game on the Western side of JinJi Lake.  Well, there is also no shortage of brides near the Cultural Arts Center and in Moon Harbor.  The place was crawling with couples during the holidays.  It was fun to watch the professional photographers at work.  They take their craft as seriously as the cinematographers on a Hollywood feature.

Photos below are simply a voyeur's account of the typical goings-on.   You see the traditional wedding poses as well as some not-so-traditional poses.  You also see the costume changes and make-up breaks.  What can't be captured here is the incessant sound of fireworks - day and night - that are set off in celebration.
